An inclusive football team is going from strength-to-strength after securing accreditation from the Football Association.

A Lichfield football club has kicked off the new year in style after being presented with Staffordshire FA’s Club of the Month award.

Lichfield MP Michael Fabricant has championed the need for more pitches and facilities to help accommodate one of the region’s fastest growing football clubs.

AFC Fradley are collaborating with the Staffordshire based charity, Pathway Project, who work with survivors of domestic and sexual abuse. 

Four professional footballers will be visiting Lichfield for a free event aimed at encouraging more women and girls into the sport.
